The artists started from a strong immersion in hip hop culture, which had arrived in Brazil at the time the brothers began producing, and from the influence of dance, music, muralism, and popular culture to develop a singular style, with a joyful atmosphere, that eventually became an emblem of urban spaces throughout Brazil and the world. The duo’s recent projects include solo shows at MON – Museu Oscar Niemeyer (Curitiba, 2021), Pinacoteca de São Paulo (São Paulo, 2020/2021), First Art Museum (Nashville, 2019), Hamburger Bahnhof (with breakdance group Flying Steps) (Berlin, 2019), Mattress Factory (Pittsburgh, 2018), Pirelli HangarBicocca (Milan, 2016), Museu Casa do Pontal (Rio de Janeiro, 2015) and ICA – The Institute of Contemporary Art (Boston, 2012). Their works are featured in major collections around the world, such as MOT (Tokyo), Franks-Suss Collection (London), MAM-SP (São Paulo), Pinacoteca de São Paulo (São Paulo) and Museu Casa do Pontal (Rio de Janeiro).

OSGEMEOS are twin brothers based in Brazil. Influenced by hip hop culture, dance, music, muralism, and popular culture, the artist duo has established an exuberant and singular style inspired by their own imaginary universe called Tritrez. As Brazil and the world’s leading graffiti artists whose works are part of major collections around the globe, they have become urban icons. The duo’s high-profile projects include painting a GOL Airlines plane in 2014, and the façade of the Tate Modern in London in 2008. For Reborn-Art Festival, OSGEMEOS will unveil a mural evoking azaleas, the official flower of Ishinomaki City.
